As our program of development continues, Genex UK is proud to announce that Tina Davis and Maria Gregory have gained accreditation on the use of our Inspect2CAD system. This system developed by QCT is the computer side of our IPT CMM. The CMM has always been a part of Genex day-to-day business, but with the ever increasing complexity of designs the checking methods also need to grow. The decision was made to upgrade our system to the inspect2CAD. This means that we can load the CAD model of the part and inspect the physical part to the original CAD. Director Michael Beese said “As CAD systems and manufacturing processes progress, the need for a smarter and easier way to precisely measure components is required. This upgrade has given us the tools to progress within industry”
